Do you have a child that hits/kicks/bites? 5 Tips to Understand and Manage Aggressive Behavior.

Does your child ever lash out when he/she is upset and hit, kick, bite, or pinch?

Did you know this is actually a NORMAL response to stored up fear and anger?

Want to know why the punishments and time outs aren’t working to get rid of the behavior?

Because it’s perpetuating the cycle of disconnection and the inability for your child to think logically. It also dampens the child’s ability to learn through co-regulation.

Obviously we don’t want our children to continue with this behavior long term, so what do we do about it….

Today, I walk you through 5 tips that have successfully helped the aggression in our home move from multiple times per day to maybe 1-2 times per week. BONUS: the child that tends to the aggressive side  is actually showing improved impulse control prior to reacting and following through with what I have been training and teaching him to do! This is huge!

I hope this is an encouragement and a helpful peek inside your child’s brain!
