Do you ever just feel like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed? What if that happens to your kid(s) too?!
Last week, I woke up feeling like I was just in "a mood". Like I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and I didn't really know why or what caused it. But I had a really difficult time moving out of it.
I could feel my frustrations and impatience rising at different times throughout the day. I managed to keep self controlled enough that I didn't yell or explode but I definitely was still missing the mark. I couldn't help but let my kids know that I was annoyed at their requests.
The next day, I was reflecting on what happened and felt convicted.
How quickly do we expect our kids to transition out of their bad moods? Do we ever remind ourselves that a child can also have a day where they "wake up on the wrong side of the bed"?
