I get it! I went through a major season of overwhelm and walked through some really challenging behaviors with my spirited child. During that time, I discovered 5 things that were game changers for me as I was sanctified over and over and grew in ways that allowed us to bust through the behaviors in a more effective way. 

 

  1. Figure out your triggers and where they come from
  2. Pray
  3. Train your brain to shift perspectives
  4. Get a listening partner
  5. Deep breathing

Don't forget to journal or spend time this week reflecting on the behaviors that cause you to be triggered - what are the behaviors, what is going on around you (a lot of noise, busy schedule, etc), and what do you do when you're triggered (and be honest!).
